Welcome to week 1 of your Online class(es)!  You will be receiving at least one informational email each week from the School of Online Learning, Enrollment Management Team.  We hope you will find the information useful; it comes from years of answering questions for online students and hopefully will answer some of yours.

1.                   Sources for Academic Assistance: 

A.                  The Park University Academic Support Center http://www.park.edu/support/ provides a way for students to submit written assignments via email or in person.  Access to the Park University Online Writing Lab (OWL) is listed under "Special Courses" when you login to your online classroom.

B.                 Online Tutoring Services - Help When You Need it - 24 Hours a Day!  Students taking online classes are eligible to receive FREE and confidential online tutoring through SMARTHINKING.  Support is available in the following subject areas:  Math, Bilingual Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Spanish, and Writing.  Just go to http://www.smarthinking.com/ and enter the username: smartonline & password: parkututoring. 

C.                 Your first source of academic help should always be your course instructor.  Please don't hesitate to contact him/or her via email or phone.
