Eddie F. McCoy has taught in the capacity of adjunct professor for a combined 30 years.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and an Master of Science degree in industrial engineering as well as two key certifications-Project Management Professional and Certified Military Community Executive. He is a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer who served as a drill sergeant in two tours in Viet Nam. He is also a retired GS-15 IT Program Analyst with the Department of Justice and the past president of the International Military Community Executives Association.

Currently, McCoy is chairman of the Department of Defense Sub-Committee for Nonappropriated Fund Food and Beverage Managers and the cofounder and CEO of Capitol Consulting, Inc., a Northern Virginia consulting firm specializing in "Superior Business Solutions"™.
