Thimios Zaharopoulos, Ph.D., serves as the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Park University. He has also taught or served as an administrator at Washburn University, Pittsburg State University, The American College of Greece and Southern Illinois University.
 
In addition to Zaharopoulos' college teaching duties, he has also worked briefly on two Greek television programs. He is the author of one book, numerous book chapters, 17 published articles in scholarly journals, and has made more than 35 presentations at national or international conferences.

Originally from Greece, Zaharopoulos immigrated to the United States at the age of 13.

Degrees and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radio & TV, and Cinema (double-major)
  • Master of Arts in Public Visual Communication (Television & Media Criticism)
  • Doctorate Degree in Journalism
