The purpose of the task force is to ensure the preparation of social work students and faculty with the knowledge and skills essential to address the existing and emerging needs of military veterans and their families.

Bachman is serving as co-chair of the work group charged with identifying and recommending current and specific knowledge and skills related to working with veterans and their families that are appropriate to generalist BSW and clinical MSW curricula, as well as for the preparation of doctoral level students preparing for faculty roles.
