Associate Professor of Geology/Geography Scott Hageman

Associate Professor of Geology/Geography Scott Hageman (pictured on the left) recently received the Excellence in Post Secondary award at the 2005 Excellence in Education banquet in April at the Kansas City International Expo Center.

This event honors outstanding students, teachers, school staff, volunteers and business supporters of education in the Northland of Kansas City. The masters of ceremony were Dick Wilson and Katey McGuckin of Oldies 95 radio station.

The event, sponsored by Citizens Bank & Trust, is the single largest event that the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts each year.

The mission of the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce is to enhance the business community, economic growth and quality of life in the Northland. The organization serves Clay and Platte Counties in Missouri and represents more than 700 businesses.
