Section editor Steve Pew is associate professor and coordinator of the Master's in Healthcare/Health Administration Program at Park University's Hauptmann School of Public Affairs. He holds a doctorate degree in educational psychology and measurements from the University of Nebraska. He is a licensed nursing home administrator in Indiana, and holds a certificate in Civil and Family Mediation and Conflict Resolution from Texas Woman's University. Pew has worked in healthcare for more than 30 years serving as the CEO for a five-county Mental Health Provider, vice president for marketing and planning for Floyd Memorial Hospital, and senior director of Voluntary Hospitals of America in Performance Improvement and Patient Safety.
