Park University Joins Wentworth Junior CollegeBy Summer A. The Park University is proud to announce the grand opening of its 42 Campus Center at the Wentworth Junior College in Lexington, Mo. A ribbon cutting and formal agreement signing ceremony will be held on Aug. 22 following the Sounding of the Cannon ceremony at 10:15 a.m. in Groendyke Hall at Wentworth Junior College. The Wentworth Campus Center will provide residents of Lexington and the surrounding communities the opportunity to obtain affordable educational degrees at a convenient location with an evening forum to accommodate their busy lifestyles. Students can choose to complete their degree in the traditional face-to-face format during the day, evenings or on Saturdays; in the Online format; or a combination of both formats. Wentworth Junior College will teach the freshman and sophomore courses, which will be transferred to Park University for the duration of the upper level courses for junior, seniors and graduates. Both institutions will provide educational counseling and guidance, as well as financial aid assistance. Established in 1875, Park University is a national leader in higher education and is distinguished by its innovative adult-degree completion programs. The University has 24,272 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate degree programs at 42 campuses located in 21 states and Online.
