Internationally Acclaimed Pianist to Perform at Park University

Aldo Mancinelli, the first American to win the coveted Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition, will grace Park University with a piano recital on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. in the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will include pieces by Beethoven, Brahms, Liszt, and a new work by Park University's Timothy Corrao.

Mancinelli will offer master classes on Monday, Oct. 3 at 9:30 a.m. in the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel. The public is welcome to attend.

Mancinelli has performed more than 950 concerts throughout Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and the United States. He has played at Carnegie Hall and has been the guest soloist with major symphony orchestras including the Hague Philharmonic, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Santa Cecilia Orchestra and the Dallas Symphony.

Mancinelli graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Oberlin, Ohio, and the Academia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. He is also a Steinway Artist.
