Do You Love to Golf?By Summer A. Evans - August 25, 2005 - 8:36 amEmail this article | Printer friendly page | Media Inquiries Park University and Xerox Global Services invite golf aficionados to join in the annual Golf Scramble on Monday, Sept. 26 at The National Club of Kansas City. All proceeds will benefit the Park University men's and women's athletic teams. The cost to participate is $300 per person, and corporate sponsorships are $2,000 and include a foursome golf team and hole signage. Each golfer will have an opportunity to win a new Chrysler with a hole-one on the designated par three. Golf participants will also receive a shirt, golf balls, golf towel and more. Not interested in golfing? Take a break from work and participate in "The Art of Driving" test drives presented by Jack Miller Chrysler from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The public can select from one of four different 2006 Chrysler models. Chrysler will donate $5 to the University athletic teams for every free test drive. * Golf registration and Chrysler test drives begin at 10:30 a.m. * Lunch at the clubhouse at 11 a.m. * Shotgun start at noon * Awards and cocktail reception (to follow the end of play) at 5 p.m. |
