Students Celebrate National Chemistry WeekBy Summer A. Evans - October 18, 2005 - 9:12 amEmail this article | Printer friendly page | Media Inquiries In honor of National Chemistry Week, Park University chemistry students and the American Chemical Society Kansas City section will be demonstrating the "Joys of Toys" during the Halloween weekend. The event will be at Carolyn's Pumpkin Patch on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 2-5 p.m., and at Metro North Mall on Monday, Oct. 31 from 5:30-8 p.m. The students will be showing how to make "Silly Putty," slime, an air rocket, zip around boats, different types of bubbles, and more.
